Non-Scholastic events

=>  However, if you feel like playing slower games,  please join us for our monthly CFC event(s)  (non-scholastic event) targeted for the more advance players and parents, usually held each month at MUN's students cafeteria next to the Clock tower over the Prince Phillip Drive. 

June Knights Announcement 

June Knights => June 18th, June 19th & June 20th
Entry fees: Members; $12, Non-CFC members add $12

*** If signing up as new 1st time member, we will waive your entry fee for the event.  

Game time:
Round 1: 7:30 pm (Friday) June 18th
Round 2: 6:30 pm Round 3: 8:45 pm (Saturday) June 19th
Round 4: 9:30 am Round 5: 11:45 am (Sunday) June 20th


1st place = $50
2nd place = up to $25 (if more than 10 players)
Best performance = $25 (if more than 8 players)
Location: MUN students cafeteria over Prince Phillip Drive.

Parking permit for lot next to the library/cafeterua ie. Area 18 is available for purchase at $5.00 per term !!! Good for evenings and weekends only. (Thats what you need really for attending our chess activities). Permits available from MUN security office.
Games are all sudden death 61 minutes per player.
