Open to all grades (K-12). Sections to be determined on the day. There will be an adult speed chess tournament for parents if interest is sufficient. |

Trophies/medals for elementary school section(s). Cash prize for high school section(s). |

Format: |
5 minutes per player per game. 5 double rounds. (Each player will play white followed by black with the same player or vice versa in each round). NLSCA speed chess rules apply. |

| Ratings: | This is a non-rated event. Ratings will not be affected. |

Neither the Newfoundland and Labrador School Chess Association (NLSCA) nor its volunteers, nor the staff at Mary Queen of Peace School will be held responsible for the safety or behaviour of participants not actively engaged in tournament play.
